This qualification prepares students to work in a range of support positions in human resources management. In smaller companies they may operate across all human resources functions, and in larger companies they may be assigned responsibilities in units or business areas focused on discrete human resources functions, such as remuneration, workforce planning or HR information systems.

Continuing students with an IBS Certificate III in Business are awarded three (3) units advance standing, as well as a discount on their course fees.
