ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
The School of Accounting and Finance is responsible for administering diploma, advanced diploma and degree courses under the guidance of the head of school. Academics within this department are qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers who have studied and worked locally and overseas. Our courses are developed to prepare students for graduate work in accounting, economics, finance, management and law, as well as corporate and public sector employment.
Certificate 3 in Accounting
This course provides the foundational skills for processing financial data, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and bank account maintenance.
The Accounting simulation programme is an immersive virtual office experience through the entire Accounting Lifecycle, including cloud accounting.
Certificate 4 in Accounting
This course builds a broader set of capabilities in accounting, enabling students to seek opportunities within the financial and banking sector.
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance
This course explores financial markets and management via a range of topics, including risk management, reporting and contemporary issues in accounting.
Advanced Diploma in Accounting
This course offers a deep dive into advanced accounting practices. It covers taxation and auditing, cost accounting and management accounting.
Diploma in Accounting
This course covers standard accounting financial statements, analysis of operating results and utilisation of accounting information.
